December, 2008 -- Claire Missingham

"Music is a form of devotion, meditation, concentration, and listening to the rhythm of my heart," says London vinyasa teacher Claire Missingham. To tap into that rhythm, Missingham begins with a tranquil track that aims to quiet a busy mind. The music then becomes intense, so you can move into Sun Salutations, standing poses, or inversions. When the drumbeats rain down, try twists or hip openers. The practice concludes with calm melodies ideal for breathwork and meditation.
